Marek Klassen is a Canadian professional basketball player, of Mohawk of Akwesasne decent, known for his playmaking ability at the point guard position. Born in Vancouver, British Columbia, Klassen developed into one of the top guards in his class during his time at Yale Secondary school. He went on to play collegiate basketball at Point Loma Nazarene University, distinguishing himself as both an Academic All-American and two-sport NCAA All-American. 

Following his collegiate career, Klassen began a global professional journey that has taken him across Europe and North America. Early in his career, he led the British Basketball League in assists and earned Team of the Year honours, establishing himself as a dynamic distributor and leader on the court. Klassen has also competed in the NBA G League and Canada’s CEBL, where he was named an All-Star and led the league in assists, setting a single-game assist record.
